George, As was stated earlier some routing protocols are broadcast while others are multicast. RIP Broadcasts to all hosts 255.255.255.255 IGRP is also broadcast. RIP version 2 does not broadcast its updates but sends multicast updates using 224.0.0.9 EIGRP multicasts using 224.0.0.10 So for
