I think at one time, switching to a nailed null0 route vs. a nailed
loopback was preferrable, because it was fast switched and loopback routes
were processed switched. But for quite some time now, they have both been
able to do fast-switching..not sure if thats where they were going
with

It also is a good way to prevent routing loops on summary addresses, for
example.
