well...this isn't really for controlling it like a console connection. This is for snmp traps and NNM polling... If I were to do a reverse telnet to it, that would indeed give me console access but there's no way to spew snmp traps back to NNM serially. I needto be able to assign sl0 an ip addre

First thoughts are that if I needed to connect to a CSU that I'd connect to its console port. To do that I'd do reverse telnet using the aux port of the router. Biggest issue would be verifying the pin outs. Might have to build a custom cable or adapter. HTH > -Original Message- > From: P
