Hello, I'm writing this morning to first thank this group for being so helpfull in the past. Currently I have the following equipment ready to rock 'n' roll. 1) Cat 5005 2) 2507 3) 2503 4) 2501 5) 4000M (1 Token Ring Module) (1 Four Port Serial Module) 6) 2523 7) Andrew 8228 Token Ring MAU My goal is to put together the perfect lab. I have invested a great deal of time into developing my webpage and resources which I will include on an up and coming online lab rental site. Before I start this project I would like some recommendations from people who have taken the CCIE or are close to taking the CCIE lab test and have a pretty good idea of what encompasses a good lab, one which will be beneficial to a growing population of CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE candidates. Looking at the equipment I have above it is my hope that I can add the following: 1) 2509 Terminal Server 2) 2620 for fast ethernet 3) ISDN Simulator With that being said what else should I add so I can cover voice. Has anyone ever placed a voice card in a 4000M before, what type do I need to buy? Will I need to buy another voice card for the 2620? What else would you suggest? Also, I would like to spark some interest in my future endeavor, which will be releasing my website to the public. It will be a rack rental business, however I'm not going to be charging an arm and a leg, so I would like some good feedback as to what price is reasonable for up and coming CCNA's, CCNP's, and possibly even CCIE candidates to pay for either an hourly rate or in blocks of hours. What times of the day do most people work on there labs? When I initially fire out this site I will want to host a survey so I can see how this lab can most benefit a large audience such as ourselve's. If you are interested in hearing my current thoughts on pricing for the lab once I complete it or would be interested in renting time please e-mail me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Your feedback is much appreciated.
