A while back I was working in getting a 2502 up and running. It had old
boot proms in it, 8 meg flash and 8 meg of ram. The old boot roms did not
recognize the flash.

I managed to get it going by getting it to boot via tftp via a unix box,
going through a 1005 first to get to the unix box.

My first attempt I made a typo that I cant get rid of now. Well its not
really a typo but a backspace that came out w/ an esc char first.

boot system c2500-is56-l_112-21.bin^[OD 255.255.255.255
                                   ^^^^^
this was about 6 months ago. In that time I got new boot roms for it and
have a new image written that boots from flash now.

If I remember right this was a back space that I did and thats how it came
out. As its the first line in the config for booting it times out the
boots from:

boot system flash c2500-is56-l_112-21.bin

How can I get rid of the first line above with the special characters?

Thanks,
Keith
