You can actually do a lot of interesting policy routing and load balancing with both dynamic and static routing if you use two 2501s with two dte/dce cable. I would load the 2501 with 12.1(2)T codes or higher so it can pick up the ip address via dhcp from cable modem provider. Uplink the cablemo
