Priscilla brings up an important point - it doesn't really make a difference which method you use - as long as you get the right answer, and aren't dependent on any external devices! BJ I do use decimal. ;-) Just like someone else said, I do make a list such as: 128, 192, 224, 240, 248, 252, 254, 255. I don't get the tricks I've seen people do where they subtract from 256 (or something like that. Since I don't get them, I can't remember them!) Priscilla Bradley J.
