Well, not quite. First, CertificationZone products (as distinct from IP Expert, which is a partner), have a somewhat different model than other study product vendors. Essentially, a subscription gives you three kinds of service, all related. First, the monthly topic has a fairly extensive tutorial (25-35 pages, sometimes longer) on a particular technology. There will be at least one of these a month at the CCIE (R&S) level, plus an increasing number at CCNP and specialist level. Coupled with the tutorial will be a set of sample questions and one or more scenarios. We also put up various short papers on narrowly defined subjects which may or may not contain a scenario. The key point is that we believe having a focused tutorial better prepares the candidate for success on the lab. In the same manner, our questions are not questions alone, but contain substantial explanations of the correct answers and of answers that might seem misleadingly correct. Many people have suggested that these questions sometimes are harder than the actual exam, and I'm not complaining if this is so -- we intend to build a base of understanding that will put you in good shape for the exam -- thinking of the army motto, "sweat in training saves blood in combat." We should be adding, in the next month or two, some additional scenario related things, but we are not trying to compete head-to-head on nothing but the number of scenarios. Incidentally, if you find something "pathetic", tell us about it so we either can fix it or clarify it.
