console password?

Hi all, Can anyone help me in setting up the console password. The router should ask for the password whenever I connect the console cable to the router i.e. every time it should ask for a password while entering into the router thru console. I have already tried the Command "line

the following commands are the only ones that i have seen - in the order that elephant child has shown: mjs You also need to request login before it does. line con 0 login password What do you get if you multiply 6 by 9? And you probably also want: service password-encryption
