i have a weird problem.
it is a 2500 router.
running ipx, apple , and ip.
supporting apple machines with appletalk and ip.
ipx is not needed at all.
i take the ipx routing out then the cpu utilization goes
up 25%.
i put it back on then down to around 10 %.
is this not weird.
tell me what you all t
when you do a - show proc cpu - what is using up the greatest precentage?

it wat not ipx at all

after changing the router to 3600 with 11.3(?)

the cpu is ~0%.

here is a question to you then.
even if ipx routing is not set the router will still bother the cpu scheduler trying
to find the path for the ipx packet it has received?
because that is when the cpu utilization goes up.
plus when i had the ipx routing on i did a debug ipx pa
