128M CF cards have become less easy to get these days, and I'm not inclined

Yep, they support both CDP and LLDP. Earlier versions of the firmware
only support CDP
i have looked into GNS3 but it does not support VPLS simulation
is there anyway i can simulate VPLS ?

quicker than anticipated, and we have had to add another 3560 to accommodate
new client eth connections...the 2nd 3560 is connected via PortChan to the 1st
