Dear joe,
Consider using L2TPv3. I have tested L2TPv3 and works well for bridging,
even with do1q trunks.

If you are using IPSec tunnels on routers, use Version 15.0(1)M2. It
addresses some bugs. Otherwise, yes, it is quite stable.

I've got this working good over multiple bridged MLPPP connections. There was
a thread on this previously when I had some issues with it. You basically need
to use a BVI interface with the bridge to get things to work properly. Sample
config that helped me get this working is below.

Hello
Anyone had experience using ASR 9000 as a P router?

OK, I'm reaching, I know.
Let's suppose Cisco device (6500 SXH/SXI), with VRF Alpha and VRF Beta
defined.
BGP 400 is running in VRF Alpha, learning routes from somewhere else.
OSPF pid 200 is running in VRF Beta, various other routes, several OSPF
neighbors.
Set up import map, and import a ha
I assume that you are asking about allocating the C-Vlans as S-Vlans... The
general answer is yes.
It may have some implications on specific hardware, but I am not directly
aware of any...

Hi Guys,
I'm stuck in a problem where-
I'm Service provider ( MEN) network ...imposing S-Vlan
S1-vlan 100 - Cvlans 1,2,3
S2-vlan 200 - Cvlan 11,22,33
Can I give out Vlans 1,2,3,11,22,33 on a single port

Have you considered a pseudowire (either L2TPv3, or MPLS-based)? This would
make things a little simpler IMHO, assuming your 3620's support the feature.

I replied to the poster privately, but L2TPv3 should handle this
requirement pretty easily. It will bridge the two over an L3 which
could be MLPPP.

Have you tried it without the 'bridge irb'?
It sounds like you want to bridge IP between the two sites and I think
integrated routing & bridging is going to want to route IP..
