Hi,
My major concern is about the IOS difference , should I find a way to check
what is the IOS on the new Supervisor or this will not make difference , I read
the successful stories in Cisco websites but here I am asking people who really
did that on live Switchs.

You are 100% correct. TCAM for features, QFP memory for FIB.
It would mean we utilize just 40% of the QFP DRAM for that kind of FIB and

Hello,
I have a strange problem with l2tp over ipsec.
I have a 2811 with AIM-VPN/EPII-PLUS running IOS 15.0(1)M9 configured as LNS.
ipsec protection is configured using regular crypto map on router interface
(not using l2tp security profile).
Very standard config. The only difference from example

Hello Scott,
Where did you find that 2951 can do up to 300Mbps?
Per this document:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10538/aag_c45_556315.pdf
The upper router of ISR2 line can do up to 350Mbps, and that's a 3945E.
I did attached a document, with specs for different lines ISR2
Since this is hardware based* you'll also need to look at how the FIB fit
down into TCAM with "show plat hard qfp act tcam resource-manager usage"
*CPP is a network processor not an ASIC like 6k, but it does rely on
similar TCAM

Dear Jiri,
we have similar netflow issues with our Sup2T-XL upgrades from the Sup720-3CXL.
In general, all show platform flow commands are incredibly slow and tend to take
minutes. Yes, I have waited longer than 10 minutes for certain show commands
to complete, which were almost instant on the sup
