As a standard IOS XR deployment template, we turn up the wick for this
across the board.
Mark.
Thanks Daniel.

Hi Everyone,

Link 1 (primary) has ip ospf cost 201

But traffic egressing from this PE is load balancing(per session) across the 2

Hi
I'm just wondering about deployment of 6800IA FEX'es with two 6880-X as
core layer.
Not sure regarding few topics:
1) Do 6800IA have local switching or everything is passing back to 6880-X ?
I mean how communications between two ports is working on same 6800IA unit

1. I installed a new channelized T3 card on an ASR1004. The router is
already being used as an LNS terminating PPPOE connections, and we just want
to migrate some T1 circuits to the same device.
2. When a T1 interface is brought up, however, I keep seeing the below
error on the log:

in our case it seems to be a wonky nx-os revision in combination with
datacenter manager which seems to cause quite some load with its checkups.

Some of these limits are per-platform, so remember there is no “generic ios-xr”.
On the 9K you may need to set your profile to match your use case. It’s less
obvious compared to a generic central CPU platform like most XE devices are.

Hi folks,
Today I learned that XR has default maximum-prefix limits -on a contrary to
regular IOS/XE where there are no default limits.
For most of the folks it's really just an early heads up, maybe relevant for
lab tests, but the VPNv4 number is pretty low for big folks or those who are

Hi, all
we monitor all our Cisco gear with Rancid and archive configs in CVS.
One chassis shows a change of config once a day, every day. Five
minutes later at the next rancid run the change is reverted.

We use it on core-facing links for classes where it makes sense ( ie, not
real-time classes ) . As far as customer services are concerned, we've only had
to manually adjust the queue depth only a couple of times, for some special
cases with special requirements. Since it's so rare, I haven't inc
