Hi,
Firstly, some background info:
- We have our own ASN
- We have two public ranges, both allocated by ARIN
- We are an enterprise network and use /24 subnets from our public
ranges on several of our Internet links in NA/EMEA/Asia
- Naturally, we are required by some ISPs to creat
Hi,
We are deploying a bunch of E1s across Asia and EMEA, and were told by
our provider that for the sites that are G.703 they would recommend
the VWIC2-1MFT-G703 card rather than the regular channelized E1 cards.
Most of the E1 links G.703 connectivity I have seen typically work
fine with the VW
I have been asked to use a 7604 with the following spec to set up an

Hi,
Sorry for going OT, but I was hoping somebody in the know could recommend
MAN providers in the Shenzen Area. This can be MPLS or plain Metro-E
connectivity to the hub site. We are looking at connecting around 7 sites in
the area at a minimum of 10 Mbps.
Thanks,
-Andrew.

are connected to gig ports and existing POE/power injector can meet the

Need a bit of advice from the folks who work at ISPs or are familiar with
the ARIN setup.
We already have our own ASN and public IP subnets registered to us, and we
have had several sites running BGP with the ISP and also announcing our
subnets out to the Internet, though with a single ISP at eac
If you use a Cisco Router you can have a site-to-site VPN with multiple
'tunnel' interfaces on the router, which might all make use of the same
physical interface. These work just like regular interfaces as far as
routing is concerned and you can easily route between them.

Use a port scanner like NMAP.

I don't have a lot of experience with Cisco ACS boxes and the Cisco
documentation doesn't explain this clearly so am hoping somebody could share
their experience or provide some ideas.
We have 2 Cisco ACS boxes (4.2) that are currently used for providing Radius
authentication to wireless users (Ci
For pure L2 aggregation HP also has a 24-port fiber switch that is very
reasonably priced. It also has 10 G uplinks that you can use to connect to a
4948 10G switch, which will work out to be fairly cost effective.

Are you talking about using the twin-gig connectors to provide 1 G uplinks?
Nothing wrong with that but its pretty expensive by comparison to a regular
gig SFP.

asked to look at cheaper options due to budget constaints, hence wanted some
advice on the other options, do you think they could work well, any
potential issues we should look out for, or should we even be considering
them?
