Is it possible that 128mb is too large amount of flash memory for the
S2-MSFC2 to recognize? Does the Supervisor module only accommodate 64Mb max?

It's my understanding that Non Cisco SFPs which are Cisco coded have DOM
³Digital Optical Monitoring² specified in the part number description, which

Using a Black Box TS027A-R2 ethernet tester to test the 10/100 ports rather
than connect a device to every port on a WS-C3524-XL-EN. The Black Box tests

Anybody familiar with using a Black Box TS027A-R2 Ethernet tester to test
the 10/100 ports rather than connect a device to every port? We seem to get
false positive results with it and have been advised by Black Box tech
support not to use the TS027A-R2 or any standard Black Box Ethernet tester.

Because of how a Cisco switch handles the pulse from the tester, it can give
false readings. The advised tester to use is the TPAM128335. IF you would
please comment, confirm or advise otherwise.
