Can anyone prove they saw this when either:

b) The upstream speaker was running with code *newer* t
It happens when you peer with GSR with _particular_(my personal assumption)
version and your IOS do not support 4byte AS.
The problem was caused by malicious update from one AS which disappeared from

Is it generally done to exchange ipv6 info with bgp peers defined only by ipv4

I don't see why it's not supported if there is a document about it...
Also some people says that when you enable this feature it cause recirculation
on pfc for each packet. I would be happy to hear if its correct or not.

I'll get back with you.
It's going to be in a 12.0(33)S rebuild for sure.
But I need to check back on what the 12008 decision
was...ie: only in 32S rebuilds?

Hi!
Pros:
Security. You can make device management based on private addresses like
10./172. So no one ever can get remote access to your routers from internet.
Cons:
Memory consuption on routers.
Each full view will consume more router's ram that usual.
A bit more annoying troubleshoot - you ne
But keep in mind that it has oversubscription on non uplink ports

Most likely problem can be solved if you switch to 12.4(latest).

What IOS version do you use?
One corrected ECC error is ok. If it continue to repeat you need to change DRAM
