The platforms where GLC-T are supporting 10/100/1000Base-T are listed here:

Don't know however if they do support auto-neg or not.

Hi Terry,
If you haven't done an no ip redirects on all your routed interfaces, this
could be an issue.
We faced this problem recently. In fact on a subnet shared by 2 routers, one
host used my 4507 as its default gateway. As the 4507 knew that the best
path to reach the destination was through
Would it be possible to share your configuration (remove passwords, MD5
hashes, ... before).
Your tricky problem wakes up my interest ! :-)
At least, I am happy (for you) that you found out a stable situation until
the high CPU root cause is found.
BTW, how much ram do you have on your router ?
I've got some high CPU measured on another Cisco equipment (Catalyst 4500,
so different architecture and different process involved). But this story
can maybe help.
The story ended when we discovered that on a given SVI, my switch generated
lots of ICMP Redirects on a given VLAN.
Maybe this can
Hi Jurgen,
Thank for your message.
But it was not my decision to put the continue clause in that position. It
is IOS that did so, whatever the order you configure your set and
continue statements.

Hi !
I would like to apply some sophisticated rules with my prefixes announced

I saw that Cisco implemented a continue clause that could permit me to
achieve my goal.
Before implemented such rules on my productive routers, I did some tests
with GNS3, but it seems that the continue

Did you notice this problem ?
I did not observe the problem by myself, but there is a long thread about
it on NANOG mailing list. You can go through their archives to read what

Sorry that I didn't answer so much time.
As I got to know from cisco engineers 2 SCMs are supported only by software

I did open TAC case, they don't know that 2 SCMs are not

Hi Frank,
Do you monitor the switch resources (CPU, memory) ?
It is very likely that you have a memory leak in a process and no free
memory to allocate for your management process. This is at least the same
behavior that I got once with another Catalyst switch (IOS, don't remember
the version)

Hi Adrian,
I think a complete show interface fastethernet X/Y would be useful in
order to consider how many drops are present as compared to the total number
of packets and to get details about these drops !
Then, input drops are quite unusual, as it means that the input buffer was

Hi!
These are good metro switches. No main issues with them.
However, as their name imply, these are metro switches. So metro
functionalities are present (UNI/NNI port types for instance, REP resiliency
protocol), while some LAN functionalities are absent (such as VTP for
instance which is less
Hi Paul,
If I understand well, you're doing VoIP over a PPPoE link.
I never tried such a configuration (does not mean it should not work, just I
never had the chance to have to implement it), but as you're mentionning
