[c-nsp] 7600 high cpu due to BGP process

Hi 7606 router with 3CXL runs 12.2(33)SRC4 version has high CPU due to BGP router and BGP scanner, when checked , there are no session flaps or route flaps and memory is 2GB with nearly 800MB free in it. Any reason for this cause? Warm Regards. ___

Hi dumitru, Check if your bgp clients withdrawing or announcing routes frequently, monitor your bgp routing table version number. Also try reducing routes you receive from upstream provider. If you would give clear picture about your network then it would be easy to understand and suggest you.
