Been down this design beforeā€¦ each CER Group/cluster can support 1 version of CUCM. So technically from a support perspective, you would need 2. Maybe you can get some temp licenses from Cisco? The issue is our good friend JCRAPI.. I mean JTAPI. Dennis Heim | Emerging Technology Architect

We are doing a parallel migration of several CUCM clusters. The current production CUCM cluster is 8.5 and is integrated with CER 10.5. We need to support the user migration to 2 new CUCM 10.5 clusters. So the requirement would be for CER 10.5. to support (1) CUCM 8.5 and (2) CUCM 10.5 clusters.
