When Unified Messaging (Single Inbox) is enabled on Unity Connection, the
features are pretty much the same across both platforms. Right now I could call
in in to my external unity connection voicemail IVR and listen to my
appointments and emails. The same could be done with Exchang
If the Viking is giving you its confirmation tone after you dial **, then
clearly it is successfully receiving and interpreting the DTMF from the
gateway. So I think your intermittent door operation is an issue with the
Viking itself or with the door hardware.

I went through all 10 impedance values (shut/no shut after each one) and got
mixed results doing a few test calls on each one. Even leaving it at 600r

I know the service account in Exchange for Unity Connection requires
application impersonation permissions. Does this permission allow the service
account to view a user's email box content even if the user doesn't have an
account in Unity Connection?

Guys,
I have searched for a recent comparison of Unity Connection and MS Exchange
UM. Does anyone have info on this? I personally prefer to keep VOICE in VOICE
and not depend on MS, but also would like to see a recent side by side
comparison of these solutions.
