F2F REQUIRED !!* *Job Description:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related discipline-REQUIRED 5 years networking experience in a cellular or telecommunications environment Detailed knowledge and direct extensive experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, QOS and MPLS Extensive experience with Layer 1 and 2 network technologies (SONET, PPP, ATM, Frame Relay, Ethernet, Fiber) Extensive hands-on experience in configuring routers and switches: Cisco: CRS, 12K, 10K, 7600, ASR 9K & 1K, 6500 and 3800 Juniper: MX & EX platforms MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE Other: A10, F5 Experience leading and participating in projects and technical discussions Ability to manage several projects at once Ability to work with minimal supervision Strong team building and interpersonal skills Excellent oral / written communication skills Candidate should possess expert knowledge and skill set of BGP & OSPF, general telephony architecture and principles, networking security (i.e. firewalls, Secure ID, security protocols, TACACS and Radius), SNMP, network management, HP Openview, Concord eHealth and network equipment MIBs. MPLS, IPv6, and VoIP experience is preferred. A strong understanding of structured network design and the OSI Interconnect model especially how it relates to the design and deployment of structured networks is required. Candidate should be a solid communicator (both written and verbal) and a team player. Must be able to lead and participate in technical sessions, lead projects and coordinate technical implementation discussions.
