This person will be responsible for working on projects related to Linux/Solaris/Window server troubleshooting, performance, capacity planning. Linux/Solaris infrastructure design/build-out/deployments, improving Linux/Solaris server performance and availability, implementing new server monitoring and tuning technologies and complex troubleshooting and problem resolution of major server issues. Technical Skills: • UNIX Solaris, RedHat Linux 5 and 6, HP-UX, AIX and Windows 2008 • VMWare virtualization, VMWare ESX • AIX 6 • SAN, Virtualization • Advanced administration of User and file system management • Worked in large environment. Thousands of servers and various operating systems. Project Skills: • Installation, Implementation and configuration • Performance and benchmarking • Troubleshooting • Advanced understanding of native commands (IOSTAT, SAR, etc).
