Please share your responses/hotlists to srini...@oslosolutions.com *Title: Java/Grails Developer* *Location: Bothell, WA* *Duration: Long Term* *Responsibilities:* Work with a team of highly motivated professional developers with specialized skill sets in JAVA, GRAILS, Weblogic, Oracle database development. • Design and develop internal application deployment systems/applications, systems interfaces, databases, and reporting, as required, to deliver new systems functionality supporting corporate business objectives. • Design and develop a system (web application and database) to manage application properties in a central database that is used during automated deployment of applications into dev, test, and production environments. This system is an integral part of our migration to a continuous delivery methodology. It isolates the environment administrators from application specific property update methods and provides a central information store for the current property values in a specific environment. • Design and develop complete systems using Object Oriented Programming methodology to integrate with our evolving Deployment Automation Solutions. • Full responsibilities of a SCRUM team member: software testing, database design, architecting, source control, documentation and user. • Work with teammates to assign story points to user stories and deliver functionality during a Sprint. • Utilize troubleshooting and advanced problem solving skills to provide advanced support for systems. • Perform Relational Data Modeling. • Perform SQL (Oracle) Database Administration. Qualifications *Required:* Designing and developing JAVA and GRAILs web applications hosted in Weblogic. *Required:* Developing solutions using Oracle, including database design and maintenance. *Required:* Using SCM tools for software version control and build management. Experience with Accurev and Jenkins preferred. *Required:* Using development methods and protocols to develop, test and release software at a production level of quality. *Strongly preferred:* Experience with Agile programming, specifically SCRUM methodology *Strongly preferred:* Knowledge of application deployment in an EIT operations, especially Tibco deployment. *Strongly preferred:* Experience with deployment automation tools like puppet. Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment Desire to share ideas and think outside the box Experience and education requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or software engineering, or 10 years’ experience as a developer. • 2 years’ experience in MS SQL Server 2008/2012 and or Oracle 9i/10g/11g Development. • 2 to 5 years’ experience with JAVA/Weblogic application development.
