The product caters to providing more visibility and transparency on quality of care to health care providers. The ideal candidate will have had experience running business rules engines in a production environment over Big Data. The position calls for a player-coach. This person should be able to review existing code, suggest and implement best practices and tune existing Drools implementation to run faster and scale. *The best candidate will have at least 5 projects using JBOSS Drools, and 3 of which would have been lead roles.* *Desired Skills* *- Java 6 (Expert)* - NextGate MDM technology *- JBoss Drools (expert)* - QlikView Insight Server - Must be a team player - Must have a get-it-done attitude - Must be a quick learner - Health Care Experience a plus. - EMR Experience a plus. Contractor would need to be onsite for the duration of the contract. Contract might be extended based on evaluation of current business rules and duration of work determined in the scoping and reviews of the current system/processes. This project is cutting edge R&D within a niche market. *Responsibilities:* Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
