*Job Description:* ? Develop and maintain strong relations with senior business executives—develop new insights into company business model and pain points, and deliver actionable, high-impact results ? Lead development of plans and strategies for data management processes and IT programs for the line of business, providing hands-on in data modeling, technical implementation of vendor products and practices ? Facilitate, guide, and influence the project teams in the right data architecture and become interface between business and IT solutions ? Design and develop enterprise and system level conceptual and logical data models ? Lead and facilitate data modeling workshops, and publish minutes, data requirements, and data models. ? Design and develop process/entity (CRUD) models, data distribution models, and data principles, data standards, and data policy. ? Document the use of all business critical data, their definition, source, usage, storage, processing, legal and security risk aspects. ? Create executive presentations, architecture documents, and IT white papers ? 10+ years of experience in data modeling, with at least 5 years modeling at an enterprise level ? 5+ years of experience in data governance and quality processes within a large corporate environment ? Experience with designing data model for an asset management system implementation is highly desirable. ? Experience with designing data model for a master data management implementation is highly desirable. ? Experience with BI Technology and Big Data is a plus. ? Experience in working with a distributed teams in a highly dynamic environment; preferably involving an onshore/offshore model, highly desirable ? Excellent skills in MS Office Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Unit Testing Tool & techniques ? Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation ? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills ? Excellent planning and organizational skills ? Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations ? Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems; ability to estimate the financial impact ? Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new data technologies ? Understanding of the culture of the organization, and how to respond to challenges ? Track record for remaining unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor; and being more interested in results than preferences ? Strong record of timely and accurate solution delivery ? Ability to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse groups of people ? Data Modeling, Data Analysis, & Database Design: Must have both Operational and Dimensional Data Modeling(Star Schema) skills using standard data modeling tools, Conceptual Data Modeling, Logical Data Modeling, Physical Data Modeling, ? Database, Data Warehousing, ETL, BI and Reporting tools and processes. Oracle BI, SQL Server BI, Oracle E-Business Suite is highly desirable. ? Big Data, NOSQL and Cloud technology is highly desirable. ? Unstructured or Semi Structured Data Modeling ? Good understanding of information technology topics covering solution architecture, application architecture and infrastructure is an advantage, understanding of EA frameworks such as TOGAF, or Zachman ? Data integrity resolution, Data placement and Data stewardship ? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering ?
