Job Title : Healthcare Consultant (ICD) Location : Irvine, CA Duration : 6Months+ *!! HOT REQUIREMENT !!* *Must have strong exp in ICD* Responsibilities: Analyzes and documents applications, interfaces, business processes relevant to ICD-10 impacts. Look at the data flows, and work with business users to come up with business flows Develops use cases and documents used for configuring software to meet needs of ICD-10 readiness. Understand & utilize the Program SDLC Framework, including templates, tools & processes. Responsible for validating and providing clear ICD-9 to ICD-10 conversion. Liaise the vendors across multiple application areas and be accountable for follow-through and response from vendors on remediation action items. Requirements: Proficiency with various clinical applications and can assist in the progress that needs to be made for ICD-10 remediation Must have strong technical aptitude along with the skills to effectively work with business users Experience working with various clinical applications packages in a healthcare provider environment. Experience with Meditech is a plus. Experience leading/driving the QA process for developing test scenarios, test cases and test plans to validate ICD-10 compliance.
