*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com * Job Title: Mainframe QA Test Coordinator/Manager Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 3 Months Direct Client Position Software development project for modifications to an existing On-Line and Batch system that will require business analysis, systems analysis, and testing skills to act as Quality Assurance Testing Coordinator for enhancements to the UI Benefits System in support of the Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA). SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS TO THE AUTOMATED BILL PAYMENT SYSTEM (ABPS) INVOLVE NUMEROUS CHANGES TO EXISTING ONLINE AND BATCH PROCESSES AND RETROFITTING NEW CHARGING FUNCTIONS INTO VERY COMPLICATED EXISTING LEGACY PROCESSES . DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Within project schedules and other defined deadlines, candidate will provide business and system analysis, quality assurance through review and maintenance of test plans/results. The candidate will coordinate all testing activities for the project. This position involves working with a legacy system in an IBM Mainframe environment utilizing COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, CA Panvalet, ISPF/SDSF and EasyTrieve experience is a plus. REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • Able to formulate test plans and act upon those plans • Able to formulate technical resolutions to business issues • Problem-solving, troubleshooting skills • Work closely with others in a team environment • Able to develop and interpret business requirements, develop technical specs, review code and develop test processes to meet requirements. • Able to perform detailed system and data analysis of existing legacy system.
