This position is responsible for development, operations and enhancements
of state-of-the-art database marketing solutions.
*Essential Job Functions:*
· Design and develop scalable and reusable database processes.
· Design, code, and test major features, as well as work jointly
with other team members to provide complex software enhancements for
databases.
· Deisgn and develop PL/SQL processes to perform complex ETL
processes.
· Develop unix and perl script for data auditing and automation.
· Construct and design documents and documentation to aid in
maintenance and code reuse in accordance with team processes and standards.
· Develop strong working relationships with managers and analysts.
· Participate in code reviews in accordance to standards.
· Analyze data needs and independently develop logical and physical
data models.
· Coordinate the implementation of database application components.
· Interact with key partners and internal users regarding timelines,
technical issues, and infrastructure integration.
· Understand and work with data in with varying degrees of
complexity and scale.
· Coordinate and participate in application testing and quality
inspections
*Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:*
· Strong communication skills (oral and written)
· Good analytical and problem solving skills
· Advanced software development and scripting skills for use in
automation and interfacing with databases.
· Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing
concepts.
· Must be knowledgeable in software development
lifecycles/methodologies.
*· 6 to 8 years experience using standard ETL tools; experience with
TalenD or Ab Initio a plus.*
*· 6 to 8 years experience with Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server*
*· 6 to 8 years experience in developing procedures, packages and
functions in DW environment*
*· 4 to 6 years experience in tuning SQL Queries for performance*
*· 6 to 8 years Unix/Linux experience*
*· 4 to 6 years development experience using Perl, awk and UNIX
Shell scripts*
*· 2 to 4 years of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)*
· T-SQL, PL/SQL, XML
· Knowledge of CRM, MDM, Business Intelligence a plus
