               The Network focused Design Engineer is responsible for
planning, designing, and building global LAN/WAN environments including
routing, switching, load balancing, wireless, and network security for a
variety of professional services clients.  The position requires the
agility and flexibility to work on extremely diverse network architectures
on a project-oriented team.  Primary job duties will include high level
strategy and design of enterprise networks, implementation and
configuration of networks based on design work, physical and logical
network migration, and general consulting on a variety of network-related
issues.  Candidate will work directly with end customers as well as
multiple internal teams.



Type of Experience:

•             LAN architecture and design experience

•             WAN architecture and design experience

•             WAN optimization/WAN acceleration (Riverbed, Silver Peak,
etc.)

•             Internet, MPLS, PSTN circuits

•             Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RSTP, EIGRP, etc.)

•             Global load balancing

•             Application load balancing

•             Firewall configuration and setup (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto,
Fortigate, etc.)

•             Software Defined Networking

•             Significant Cisco experience including Nexus line

•             Non-Cisco vendor experience (Juniper, Brocade, etc.)

•             Design documentation including MS Visio

•             Cloud based virtual load balancers and security devices

•             AWS Direct Connect and Azure Express Route
