Position: Java Programmer/ Analyst
Location: New York, NY
duration: 6+ month

*Responsibilities*
·Develop, test, maintain and support high quality software/computer and/or
Web based programming projects using Java and Java Script
·Provide software/computer and/or Web-based programming support
·Develop coding solutions to meet customer application needs defined by our
product owner and ensure continual improvement in software systems
supported.
·Gathers, Interprets and Analyzes complex user requirements specified by
customers and engineers to complete software design, development, testing,
installation, and support for applications, which satisfy those
requirements.
·Maintain effective software documentation.
·Collaborate with configuration management with respect to assigned
applications.
·Regular attendance is required in office.
Qualifications:
·A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
discipline is required.
·4 or more years of application development and/or programming experience.
·Experience working within a variety of software development methodologies,
including but not limited to Agile, TDD, RAD, Waterfall, MVC, DDD and/or CI.
·Full understanding of project management processes and tasks
·Experience in systems design on fairly complex computer systems
·Experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tier
environment
·Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
·Programming language expertise consisting of, but not limited to the
following; HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, Javascript, JS frameworks,
Angular JS, Debug Tools, J2EE, Spring Frameworks
·Operating system expertise consisting of, but not limited to the
following: Windows, OS X, Linix
·Experience in relational database such as Oracle, mySQL, Cassandra
