*DAILY DUTIES:*

The contractor will work closely with the Bureau of IT project lead to
identify and prioritize work-load and scheduling. They will also work
closely in a technical capacity with technical and program area staff in
various areas to complete this project. The position will be utilized
between 37.5 and 40 hours per week for the duration of this project. This
project will further enhance the Woman Infants and Children (WIC) module
and Breastfeeding Module of the CARES (Client Automated Record and
Encounter System).

The contractor will be responsible for coding, documenting and testing of
the various components of WIC and Breastfeeding modules. Depending on the
specific module, all code will be written in Delphi (7)/Object Pascal, C#
andASP.NET <http://asp.net/>. All code will be properly documented using
designated documentation standards. All data will be housed in the agency
IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL server databases.

The position will require extensive liaison with the Information Technology
staff within the agency and the Division of WIC data analyst.


*THIS SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING TASKS:*


*Task I:* Modify Status Codes and Discharge Reasons
*Task II:* Add an optional field for generating randomly selected charts by
user id.
*Task III*: Modify the Breastfeeding Module to include breast pump
inventory functions currently included in WIC Web (WIC Web will go away).
In addition, add inventory functionality for single user breast pumps to
the breastfeeding module
*Task IV*: Modify the Breastfeeding Module to enable all prenatal and
breastfeeding certifications to be transferred/added to the BF Module
without requiring the assignment and acceptance of a referral.
*Task V*: Develop reports/cubes that will provide valuable data to
operations/regions regarding caseload.
