Server-Side Java / J2EE Developer* *Location:* Charlotte, NC/San Leandro or SFO, CA *Duration:* 12+ Months *MOI::PHONE AND SKYPE...!!!* *VISA STATUS:: OPT/CPT, ANY EAD, GC, USC* *Job Details:* Internet Authentication and Fraud Development within DCT has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer in its Secure Identity Management Services (SIMS) development team. This is a software delivery and operationally focused position for SIMS platform. This position requires a broad range of skills and experience ranging from SOA knowledge to build tools and configuration management to relational databases. We are looking for Senior engineers with background in supporting complex, high volume and highly available J2ee application environment. Responsibilities include: Identify and co-ordinate assembly of software modules pertaining to a release. Assign , track and drive to resolution production defects / Maintenance requests in a timely manner. Prepare DEV testing environments, build and deploy applications , co-ordinate dev testing and certify releases to QA environment. Prepare installation and troubleshooting documents and participate in operational reviews. Act as the primary point of contact with in the DEV team for production issues Troubleshoot production issues and provide developer support for installs. Provide Dev support for infrastructure and software upgrades Provide on-call pager support during off-hours as needed Identify new monitoring and operational metrics and develop scripts for install and post install monitoring *Minimum Qualifications:* 10+ years hands-on experience in configuring and supporting Java/J2EE applications. In-depth experience in configuring ,deploying and performance tuning J2EE applications in a high volume, high availability environment. Prior experience with deploying and supporting large scale Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) implementations. Working knowledge of relational databases and Batch frameworks. Working knowledge of configuring and deploying messaging middleware like JMS , MQ, Weblogic Messaging bridge etc. Familiarity with all facets of SDLC - ranging from inception to deployment.
