*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com * Job Title: SAS Developer Location: Washington, DC Duration: 3 Months CTH - Temp to Perm JOB INFORMATION Develop, modify, or update applications used by business units. As a member of a strong and dynamic team, this individual will also be responsible for developing queries to retrieve data from multiple sources. Included in these responsibilities, is the need to work with the finance professionals and subject matter experts to understand their needs and develop ad-hoc reports. Actively participate in all of the steps in the software development life cycle to develop and modify the software. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Collaborate with managers and finance professionals to understand their needs and develop queries using SAS to retrieve data from archive or data warehouse for financial analysis. Assess data retrieved from archive or data warehouse for data integrity purposes; sort, partition or segment data for further analysis by others. Create and design dashboards/reports using TIBCO Spotfire that analyze the results for the management team and business unit. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data collection and report generation. Implement and support ad-hoc and quarterly reports that enable data driven business decisions. Participate in meetings and projects with client staff, project managers, and developers to automate, upgrade, or expand the dashboards/reporting suite. Develop test plan and/or test dashboards/reporting suite, debug and assist with deployment. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 4+ years of related experience REQUIRED SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS (At least one of the following is Required.
