Hill International utilizes the CostPoint Vision product for its operations. While the system has performed well, due to growth in the business, Hill International has requested the services of Dell to perform a database and platform assessment of their Deltek Vision environment, to determine the platform’s stability and potential long-term viability without requiring an increase in processing power or storage. At the completion of this project, the customer will have a detailed database and platform assessment document evaluating the hardware environment, the database environment, a health check of the platform, identification of performance issues and potential options for remediation, and evaluation and extrapolation of customer time horizon to diminishing capacity and requirement for additional platform investments. - Review and assess existing hardware platform for test, production environment: - server specs and configuration - operating system, applications, versions - storage (customer to provide inventory) - Review / assess architecture and configuration of SQL Server database environment, databases, database applications, and SAN captured within the inventory for incorporation into assessment deliverable - Perform basic SQL Server health checks and related analysis for incorporation into assessment deliverable - Review timeline for performance issues to identify timeframes for investigation if possible - Review system and SQL Server logs for incorporation into assessment deliverable - Review, perform high-level assessme Thanks & Regards, HARRY WILSON | IT Technical Recruiter *CAT Technology Inc.
