Sr Cobol Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL
Length: 6-12 months
Start: ASAP
The AS400/Cobol Senior Analyst will be assigned to receive, analyze and
identify
solutions for production issues. This is a highly critical role that sits
within
a fast paced team.
Senior consultant will include but not be limited to:
*Interaction with business users for requirement clarification and resolution
of incidents reported
*Responsible for root cause analysis for major incidents
*Coordination with Business Units and Development Teams
*Providing Status reports as needed.
Required Qualifications:
*3+ years hands on experience on an AS/400 platform:
*Software: COBOL/400, CL/400
*Utility: SQL
Ability to work independently
*Ability to work under pressure
*Ability to quickly and thorough diagnose problems and ensure resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
*7+ years' experience preferred
