Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 15 months
C2C Rate: $50/HR*


*Basic Qualifications: *
Experience in developing and delivering IT solutions
3-5 years of JAVA/J2EE Development experience.
5-10 years of TIBCO BusinessWorks Active Matrix, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Hawk and
UNIX development experience.
Financial Services, Capital Markets, Asset Management

*Preferred Qualifications Skills:
* TIBCO Product Suite – ActiveMatrix BusinessWork, EMS, Hawk
Java, Web Service, JUnit, XML, Hibernate, Struts, Spring, Hibernate,
Eclipse, ClearCase, CVS, Subversion, UNIX, JSP, J2EE, Eclipse, C++, EJB3,
Toplink, MDB and Session Beans, , PL/SQL, T-SQL, ILOG
Sybase, Microsoft SQL, Oracle Database Development

*Position Description
*SOA/TIBCO Developer
Strong TIBCO/Java/J2EE and Java server-side design and build skills, at
least 5 to 10 years of experience
Proven development lead experience and proficiency thru design, build and
test SDLC cycles
Develop and lead the efforts of TIBOC/Java/J2EE Development
Assign tasks and manage risks and issues of other TIBCO, Java developers
Develop Design Documentation given system requirements
Develop TIBCO/Java code per schedule
Develop and conduct unit test
Support TPRs during test phase (analysis, closure, etc.)
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers on the team
Recent hands-on experience in relevant technologies
Strong communicator with good background in creating solution specs/other
release documents.

*Risks and Issues *
Identify project technical risks and issues
Escalate risks and issues to the Development Manager
Mitigate identified risks and issues through escalation, planning,
communication

*Other Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Web, SOA, JAVA, ETL based applications
Helps ensure collaborative teaming work environment.
Understands and follows policies & account processes.
Understands and defines roles and responsibilities & how they contribute to
the project and Portfolio to meet business requirements.
Manages team to achieve defined objectives.
Leverages the skills of others to meet defined business objectives.
Manages status; identifies and resolves issues when possible.
Builds on/updates career goals & manages career accordingly
Develops client relationships
Responsible for the financial results of projects.
Experience generating and documenting technical component designs
Experience Conducting design and code reviews
Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (i.e.
Microsoft Project)
Excellent problem solving skills and detail oriented
Ability to resolve technical issues
Strong leadership and communication skills
Exposure to multiple SDLC models like Waterfall, Iterative and Agile and
experience in Financial Services, Capital Markets, and testing of
Securities Trade Processing systems desired but not required. Identify
project technical risks and issues
Escalate risks and issues to Management
Mitigate identified risks and issues through escalation, planning,
communication
