Sr. Middleware Administrator to join our Web Support team, responsible for
the migration of our existing web environment to our evolving enterprise
application server platforms based on Web Logic, Windows 2008, and WAM.

Candidates should possess experience in all aspects of Web Administration
including installation, administration, monitoring and ongoing
support/troubleshooting of a large-scale Web environment.

They must have extensive experience with successfully leading small to
medium project migration efforts in the UNIX, Windows, and Web areas where
they are well versed as serving in the roles of both the project lead and
technical implementer.

Participate in the administration and support of Monsanto's Web Logic and
Windows 2008 Web infrastructure

Lead migration efforts for migrating existing web apps to WebLogic and
Windows 2008

Install and configure Web Logic and IIS (on Windows 2008 Servers) on server

Create and maintain documentation including SOP’s, troubleshooting and
support best practices

Enhance and document Web Logic monitoring practices and SOP’s

Participate in the definition of standards and processes for the platform

Prioritize requests and effectively plan work

Proactively communicate task status, progress and solutions to problems

Proactive risk management - identifies and mitigates risk, and drive issue
resolution

Execute established change control processes and guidelines

Work with end users to provide post-implementation support, resolve
questions and define system improvements

5 or more years Web Administration experience in an enterprise environment

 Working knowledge of networking, understanding of DNS and experience with
load balancing
