| Key Skills : | This is a Level 3 role, expectations is to provide oversight and ownership of environment, troubleshoot and resolve complex issuesQUALIFICATIONS: • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 5-10 years experience as a Storage/Backup Administrator, VERITAS NetBackup 5.X or Higher (UNIX/Windows) • Experience in medium Backup environment (6+ Master Servers, 1,000+ clients) • Working knowledge of Unix (AIX, HP, Sun) and Windows operating systems • Detailed knowledge of Enterprise Backup Solutions, Hardware Systems, and Disaster Recovery • Experience with Data Migration and Multi-Site Data Replication • Performance monitoring, system tuning, and capacity planning experience • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with Project management methodologies and software (such as Microsoft Project) • Experience writing technical documentation (such as Microsoft Visio) • Support for the environment 24 X 7 (Pager rotation every 5-6 weeks |
