Business INTELLGINCE Application Engineer (SSIS)* Location : Seaucus , NJ Duration : 6 month Contract * Job Summary:* The Business Intelligence & Reporting organization is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of programs to develop and maintain Ernst & Young’s global business intelligence platforms. The team is geographically dispersed and comprises of all disciplines required to deliver IT solutions for our customers, including project managers, business analysts, application engineers, quality assurance & testers and implementation managers. In addition the function works closely with the Enterprise & Solution Architecture and Infrastructure & Operations teams. The Business Intelligence & Reporting Senior Application Engineer is responsible for technical delivery of components of Business Intelligence solutions within a multi-year, multi-million dollar internal global Business Intelligence program at the firm. These programs may consist of interrelated projects under an overarching program or may comprise a single large multi-year program. The Senior Application Engineer will lead one or more sub-teams within an overall global application engineering team and manage their application engineering activities, including technical analysis and design, work breakdown structures, build and unit test, working closely with the Application Engineering Technical Lead. The role requires mastery of the firm Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, design and estimation through to build and unit test. Scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication and stakeholder management are key responsibilities of the role in addition to coaching and growing the application engineering team. This role requires significant proven experience at delivering Business Intelligence solutions on the Microsoft technology platform including SQL Server 2008r2 including (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), SharePoint 2010 and .NET 4.0. The Senior Application Engineer supports the Application Engineering Technical Lead in the overall technical delivery of Business Intelligence programs and projects.
