The BRD‘s and FSD’s will be developed using templates and content specifications provided by the client. The BSA will be expected to bring knowledge and experience in one or more of the state Medicaid operational areas of enrollment, correspondence, provider and health systems. BSA’s will need to be self-starters and capable of performing with minimal supervision and oversight. Successful candidates must possess the ability to work directly with the WellCare business professionals who support the state Medicaid line of business for the company. Demonstrated BSA skills, as well as highly developed written and verbal communications skills are required. The BSA will be assigned to work on one of the four main operational areas of enrollment, correspondence, provider and health services. The BSA role is expected to possess a thorough understanding and familiarity with those operational areas. Additionally, the following are key performance aspects of the position: · Elicit business and user requirements via interviews, workshops, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, user stories, process modeling, analysis of existing systems and documentation, and other methods. · Produce deliverables within the SDLC methodology framework. · Translate conceptual business and user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to solution designers and developers and/or the project team. · Facilitate and participate in quality peer reviews of requirement artifacts to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, comprehensible, feasible, and conform to standards. · Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to solution designers and developers and/or the project team. · Assist with the interpretation of requirements into feasible options, and communicate options to the stakeholders. · Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary. · Maintain and reconcile forward and backward traceability of requirements. *Requirements:* · *At least three (3) years of direct work in and exposure to one or more state Medicaid plans as administered by a commercial health care payer plan*. · Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a mid to senior level BSA in a commercial healthcare payer plan. · Demonstrated experience writing detailed BRD’s and FSD’s · Experience with story mapping/agile/JAD facilitation · Experience with user stories and UAC · Experience with use case modeling/development is a must · Strong interpersonal skills · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Ability and experience managing requirements and requirements traceability · Strong organizational skills · Ability to multi-task · Ability to work as part of a team *Experience/Education/Certifications: * · Bachelors Degree in MIS, CS, or a business discipline · CCBA or CBAP certification suggested but not required · In-depth knowledge of various SDLC’s: Agile, Iterative, Waterfall · 3+ years of experience in full Software Development Life-Cycle · 5+ years of experience in business analysis (or 2+ years with Master's degree) *Thanks and Regards* James | Talent Acquisition - Manager | V.L.S Systems Inc.
