During Pre-Transition discussions we have identified two roles for the ORT work – For both experience is must, if not we’ll rework on the priorities : 1) Production Test Inventory Manager - Location Dallas 2) Production Test Site Manager – Dallas Production Test Inventory Manager * The Production Testing Inventory Manager is the lead role that support the live circuit inventory process. The role of this person is to serve as the central coordination point for all Inventory Build requests. The key objective for this role is to anticipate, plan and deliver as much inventory as possible ahead of scheduled for production test start, and help shrink testing intervals in the process by limiting production testing / ORT intervals to feature/service-specific testing activities only. * Phase 3 Coordinate with other test Planners to communicate inventory availability * Assess if existing infrastructure (inventory & equipment) can support specific project needs * Influence Test Planners to use dedicated lab locations/support and available circuit inventory and equipment, unless clearly defined business testing objective otherwise. * Participate in Testing transitions per release with ORT team, project team and Test Planning to review IB requests and determine disposition (“build” vs “buy”) * Coordinate with the Program Leads, inform Testing Governance teams of any competing projects for using sites and circuits, duplication of efforts, to drive prioritization. * Serve as primary POC between ORT Test Teams & customer’s Technical Marketing Support. * Manage site contacts at dedicated ORT lab locations. * Manage ORT “master list” of inventory in conjunction with all other products / services (e.g., BVOIP variants , VDNA, IPFlex). * Ensure available documentation received from Labs for dedicated site contacts to support equipment configuration. * Coordinate with customer’s Managed Router Services (MRS) team (as needed). * Align and secure appropriate support for building inventory e.g. AVPN (as required). * Fill out required form(s) for inventory build teams e.g. high speed, low speed, MOW orders to get on daily action plans. (or conversely, coordinate with cross functional teams) * Direct/coordinate inventory build out activities (after staffing in place) * Coordinate with dedicated Site Managers and Production Test Engineer for management reporting on emerging IB status * Phase 4 Oversee configuration of PBX/routers to meet test requirements * Manage list of site statuses and disconnects that have to occur when project testing is completed, ensuring that remaining circuits are useable for prior BVOIP PDU/ORT testing. * Oversee appropriate circuit/site disconnects * Serve as primary POC for “Lessons Learned” to Labs & other SMEs Production Test Site Manager – The Site Manager is a role that supports the circuit router inventory process. The Site Manager is the local presence that will provide all “hands and eyes” functions necessary to support testing activities relative to each of the dedicated US Domestic & MOW test sites. Phase 3 Attend multiple meetings per release with Test Managers, Tech Marketing Group, project team and Test Planning to review inventory build requests and determine if inventory is necessary (e.g. duplication of efforts), needs to be built, or if existing inventory can be used based on availability. * Obtain any new functionality or service IP/PBX, TDM PBX & SIP phone * Manage receipt of ordered equipment (including probes as required). * Provide a point of contact for all equipment shipments. * Manage hardware capacity across projects. Phase 4 Participate and provide technical questionnaire support (physical/logical addressing). * Manage local installation of transport circuit from LEC. * Responsible for Demarc extension ordering/coordination as required with AT&T Labs owners. * Responsible for Mounting/racking/cabling/ and configuration of ordered equipment (as required) and connection to assigned network. * Assist with PBX/CUCM and local router configurations (as required). * T&T support (hands/eyes) along with outbound/inbound calling script completion. * Call volume testing (as required). * Break/fix testing with Service Assurance (as required) * Coordinated support before or after US hours when necessary for trouble shooting and turn up involving MOW sites 5 Removal of equipment e.g. probes and routers when sites are disconnected, and return shipped per process (as required). * Provide systematic input/ “Lessons Learned” to Labs & other SME to validate, correct and improve critical customer-facing docs and to improve overall customer experience. * Maintain/update master equipment inventory list for each site contact’s dedicated lab.
