Since this is a short term contract, the candidate would need to be willing to come up to speed very quickly and be able to deliver on tight timelines. *Required Skill Set/Experience:* · 7+ yrs solid Perl development experience. · Basic to Intermediate level JavaScript skillset, advanced skill would be a plus · HTML web page design · XML manipulation in Perl · Experience with enabling technologies such as Web Servers and SVN. · Experience with Databases / building application to database interfaces - preferably with MySQL or SQL server · Very willing to learn fast on a tight schedule. · Ability to work well with both local and remote team members · Excellent written and oral communication skills *Skills that would be a Plus:* · PKI and internet security knowledge a plus. · Web 2.0 technologies such as AJAX and JSON · CSS · Physical access control system (badge access system) experience is not required but would provide excellent background · Experience with Web Services, SOAP.
