*Position: Operations Analyst II/System Admin*

*Location:  Denver, CO *

*Duration: 6+ months Contract *





*Role Description:-*



The Operations Analyst II works in a high-paced IT operations center
responsible for responding to, troubleshooting, resolving and communicating
system/application issues escalated by Tier I support.  The analyst is
responsible for gathering and analyzing data in support of system
management, maintenance and performance.  The analyst is also responsible
for maintenance of process, system and architectural documentation, and
will design and implement process improvement and automation procedures.
The Operations Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling
analysis reports, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to
systems issues.





*Responsibilities:-*

·         Troubleshoot and track escalated production issues via internal
ticketing system

·         Conduct low-level system/application administration and assist in
automating tasks

·         Gather and analyze data regarding system issues and compile
post-mortem reports

·         Manage outage bridges and drive systems issues to resolution

·         Work with project management to ensure new and upcoming features
incorporate appropriate operational requirements

·         Work with project management/QA team to ensure systemic
production issues (bugs) are addressed in a timely fashion

·         Own production operational issues by issuing initial response,
data gathering, tracking and resolution where possible, as well as
following established escalation protocols

·         Perform other activities and duties as requested, including
documentation maintenance



*Preferred Skills:-*

·         3+ years’ experience in an IT Operation Center in a large
corporate environment.

·         Experience with the Service-Now management suite

·         24x7 on-call support role

·         Experience with a wireless carrier and its IT infrastructure

·         1+ years technical writing experience maintaining or updating
system documentation
