Role : Solaris Cloud Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 6 months
Target Start Date: ASAP
General Position Summary:
Looking for someone that has cloud OS background. Mainly Solaris (oracle) and
who can help them set up a enterprise-class infrastructure cloud.
This person will help set up the solaris system and solaris cloud boxes.
Expertise in deploying and managing Hope Solaris based systems
Strong knowledge of the Solaris operating system.
Strong knowledge of Engineered systems (integrated server, network, storage).
Knowledge of Oracle Engineered systems is a plus.
Working knowledge of Database principles is a plus.
Familiarity with storage for databases are a plus
Ability to see opportunities for improvement in our business, coupled with
a clear focus on outcome.
Ability to solve problems - strong logical and analytical skills
BS in computer science or related discipline.
5+ years of experience with operating systems and storage in a datacenter or
enterprise environment.
Experience installing and configuring operating system software.
Must have a broad-has technical knowledge in host systems, data storage
solutions,
networks, applications, data, and security, with deep knowledge in at least
one.
