Currently, the team is building out 8 datacenters/month with the goal of doubling that to 16 datacenters/month in 2017. Below are the two skillsets we need: *1. **Position: Sr. Unix Engineers (6 openings)* *Pay Rate: $ 50**/- hr c2c* *Day-to-Day:* The System Operations and Engineering team will be aiding in the scaling up their operations centers across the U.S. The organization is increasing their footprint with the goal to automate operations and increase their “Points of Presence” or data centers with 200-300 servers each. The organization currently has 20,000+ servers globally, but the team is building out 8 data centers a month with the goal of doubling it in 2017. The Sr. Unix Engineers will be responsible for installing software applications on hardware and Linux servers. They will not have to support the servers and applications once installed but they will be provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the equipment. *Must Haves*: -5+ years of experience as a Unix System Administrator -2+ years of experience with Bash scripting -Experience with C++ programming -Knowledge of TCP/IP -Experience with configuration management utilities (SaltStack, Puppet, etc.) *Plusses*: -Experience working with Solaris, Redhat, or Suse flavors within Linux -Experience programming in Python -Knowledge of BGP protocols *2. **Position: Network Engineers (4 openings)* *BR: $45/r c2c* ****Anyone who’s worked at a previous internet service provider (ISP) or has worked at Facebook, Disney, AT&T, DirectTV, etc. would be perfect.**** *Day-to-Day*: Our client is currently searching for Network Engineers to help with a large Network refresh project moving 1500 circuits in their current and new data centers. They will be configuring new devices and de-configuring old ones as well as doing traffic grooming and equipment failures. More specifically, they will be tuning up 10 gigabit and 100 gigabit internet circuits.
