It's been so long since I worked on it that I had forgotten what I was doing and had to ask for a little help (thanks Henrik Krohns).
It works very well and it's detection seems to be much better than the previous libclamavversions.
I put together a small test script that scans 15 e-mails and a handful of files and it correctly identified everything.
I've tested it in RH9, darwin, OSX and OSXS all providing the same results/success.
