I met the problem while I am running the "make" after finished "configure"
as the following:
./configure CFLAGS="-D_XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED" --disable-dns --disable-shared
--disable-static
gcc -D_XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED -o clamscan output.o getopt.o cfgparser.o
misc.o options.o clamscan

although nobody answered so far,
i am nevertheless very interested to hear about the
status quo of this problem: "Zip module failure ERROR".
Equally i am willing to do all that is necessary to
find a solution to this problem, that is provide
I am also having the same problem. I can't upgrade most of our current
server's clamav until the next release cycle, they are on 0.90.1. Could I
just copy the .cvd files from a server that is running the latest clamav to
the servers that have the older version? If so would I just replace the

I believe it's a serious bug in freshclam, and I believe the bug is

change?

It means freshclam only tries to download one file (daily.cvd) instead
of lots of small .cdiff files. Because it only makes one download attempt,
it's less likely to trigger the bug.

server. It's been running great for a long time and stops thousands of virus
per day for us. Lately however our McAfee which is installed on exchange
itself is picking up this virus:

It's not a virus, it's these greeting card messages with a link to
download the malware. It's currently being identified as
Email.Phishing.RB-1222.
