Hi, I have a fedora15 system with clamav-0.97.3 and amavis-2.6.6 with clamav-unofficial-sigs-3.7.1-5 and am having problems with permissions. clamd runs as user amavis.amavis, which is who should own /var/lib/clamav and the files within, correct? And /var/lib/clamav-unofficial-sigs is owned by cl

[clamav-users] Supressing false positives

Hi: When I run ClamAV on a freebsd appliance, I get a bunch of false positives - that are primarily due to windows definitions that are not related to this OS. Is there a way to supress these or basically ignore these on the next run? Thanks in advance.

Hi: I want to run ClamAV on a FreeBSD based appliance. However, it appears to have a performance impact that is significant (cpu/mem). Is there a lightweight version? Or can I possibly limit the virus definitions to only FreeBSD related and exclude the windows definitions - so it does not hav
