I can't find anything via Google and the MailScanner list suggested I
upgrade ClamAV which I did and I'm still seeing these.

s list are all very active and helpful.
You may want to post your message on the MailScanner list and see what
others using it in your configuration have to say.
Hope this helps!

g basic questions. If you want
something that runs out of the box and where someone will fix it for you if
it breaks, I would suggest a commercial package. There are several out there
that use the same packages I mention above.
Hope this gets

#x27;s my first time and this is a production
server that can't afford to be down long. I've searched the web and can't
find any detailed instructions for this type of update (when one program is
depending on others being there 24/7)
Any hints, tips, tricks, and/or got-cha's
I found an excellent yum repository on Dag Wieers site.

If you're lurking. Thanks Dag! Great work!

Should have said I'm
running clamav-0.70rc-1.i386.rpm Is there a newer version than
this?
Installed this machine about 2 weeks ago using the latest and greatest
version. This morning I am getting the following message when running
freshclam. I added asterisks to the new lines in question. Checked the
announce list and do not see a newer version. Is there a new version?
Thanks,
Ken

Hi Chris,
I just (this week) installed a mail gateway running ClamAV. Since I also
wanted spam filtering I opted to go with
Sendmail-MailScanner-ClamAV-SpamAssassin. Install went pretty smooth and
configuration was not too tough even for a M$ admin. :) Results? 100% of
spam caught and 90+% of spam
